Nissan NV200 E Van unveiled at Detroit Auto Show followed by Delhi Expo
The all new unusual version Nissan e-NV200 electric Van named Evalia has been unveiled at the Detroit North American International Auto Show which kicks started on 9th January. It’s a non-electric, 1.5 litre DCi diesel engine powered variant, which was recently showcased in Delhi Auto Expo as well.
The electric MPV Nissan e-NV200 will be a futuristic transport solution especially for the metro cities having heavy traffic and pollution problems, said by the experts. This electric van comes boosted with a lithium ion battery and an 80kW AC synchronous motor developing maximum torque of 280Nm.

It shares the same powertrain used in Nissan Leaf hatchback. It has zero emission. The entire exterior of the Nissan e-NV200 is inspired by the Nissan NV-200 (gasoline) along with the elements arrangement from Nissan Leaf. There is one row of seats up front for the driver & passenger whereas, the folding rear seats provides ample cargo space.

The Nissan featured dashboard has a flat C-cluster display and advanced telematics, identical to the user input like in a Tablet Pc.
In 2011, Nissan e-NV200 went through an initial trial with a single prototype vehicle for delivery and collection duties by the Japan Post Services in Yokohama, Japan. Later, it faced additional testing in Central London by FedEx.
The interior of this all new concept MPV are eco friendly, looks quite inspired by the Nissan leaf. It has been said to be a future transport solutions for the cities like London, Newyork, Mumbai and Tokyo.
