Nissan NV200 MPV heading towards Auto Expo 2012
It hasn’t been too long, since the Japanese auto major Nissan has commenced its operations in the country, but within a short period of time it has earned great reputation among its consumers in India. After the smashing success of hatchback Nissan Micra and Nissan Sunny sedan the company is again in the limelight with the expected launch of its first Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) Nissan NV200 at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo.
The Nissan NV200 is expected to be powered either by the 1.5-litre dCi engine that presently serves Nissan Micra, Mahindra Verito and to be launched Renault Pulse or a new 2.0L power-train that the company plans for USA launch. The Nissan NV200 is estimated to be priced in the bracket of INR 8 lakh to 10 Lakh.
The automobile that is also called as Nissan Evalia in some countries will surely provide nightmares to the ruler of this segment Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo and the anticipated Maruti Ertiga.
