Nissan Sylphy rolled out in Japan

Nissan is back again in Japan with new and fresh Nissan Sylphy. The car has been recently launched in its home ground and has been positioned between Nissan Sunny and Nissan Teana in the Japanese car market. The new Nissan Sylphy was launched in the Thailand car bazaar in August this year with huge plans to roll it out in over 120 countries. Similar to Nissan Sunny, the company has developed Sylphy as an international car, which means it will not require any kind of alterations before rolling out in any other car market.

Nissan has made Sylphy as more conventional one as rather than very much contemporary like Sunny.  The car has LED accented headlamps and tail lights on the exteriors accompanied by alloy wheels and chrome grille. On the other hand, under the bonnet, the car has been blessed with a new 1.8 Litre MRA8DE engine that has been coupled with next-gen XTRONIC CVT transmission that has sub-planetary gear. This means that gear shifts are extra smooth and hassle free. This petrol engine is capable of churning out peak power of 116PS along with maximum torque of 154Nm. The mileage delivered by this one claimed to be around 15.6kmpl. The suspension system here is also sophistication making Nissan Sylphy a smooth ride.

Nissan is well aware as to how much importance does the safety features keep in a car. Therefore, Nissan has fitted Sylphy with numerous safety traits comprising of xenon headlights with auto light system, ABS with EBD and brake assist, dual SRS airbags, and dynamic control.With so much and so, the company played its card smartly and priced Nissan Sylphy between the range of 1,937,250 to 2,389,800 yen (Rs. 12.84 to Rs. 15.84 lakh). The company is aiming to sell about 600 units per month, which means the car sure has great potential for the Japanese car bazaar.

Nissan Sylphy will be a new threat to Honda Civic, Chevrolet Cruze, Volkswagen Jetta, Renault Fluence etc. popular premium sedan cars in India. The vehicle as very impressive body design and it will do well in India as Sunny is doing.
