Refreshed Honda Jazz to comeback in June 2015

According to industry reports Japanese car maker Honda Motors is going to bring the refreshed version of discontinued hatchback Jazz in Indian car market sometimes in the month of June this year. Due to poor sales performance in Indian car market the hatchback was discontinued by car maker back in 2013. Reports reveal that the hatchback has undergone to production unit for assembling of parts.

The hatchback has been caught tested on several occasions and rumors about hatchback reveal that the upgraded version would be offered with CVT option. The new Jazz will embellish the wheelbase of 2,530 mm which would be 30 mm bigger than the erstwhile version. Under the hood it will continue with engine configurations of 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol engine boosting the power of 87 bhp and torque of 110 Nm. At present the same engine configuration is offered in Amaze and Brio. Moving towards the diesel version it would be continued with 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine generating the power of 100 PS and torque of 200 Nm. According to reports the CVT trim of new Jazz would be offered in the petrol version.

The features that would be offered in upcoming version of Jazz will include ABS+EBD, side and front airbags, touchscreen infotainment system supporting connectivity with Bluetooth and multi-functional steering wheel. After launch the new Jazz will compete against Nissan Micra, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai i20 and Volkswagen Polo. It is speculated to be priced with competitive price tag due to dynamic features adorned in it.
