Reva NXR come soon: new images rev up anticipation
Future cars will all be powered by alternate fuels and Mahindra Reva NXR could lead the race in India. Recently, there have been many masked photos swarming the internet, all suggesting that India is sure to get its alternate fuel vehicle again and this time it has overcome its shortcomings. Reva NXR has certainly evolved to its best in the hands of Mahindra. It will be displayed at the New Delhi Auto Expo 2012.

The camouflaged images available on the internet suggest that Reva NXR is quite different from its predecessor version of Reva. The images have unveiled the front and lately the rear end of the electric vehicle. The small car Reva NXR will be a two-door car similar to its outgoing model. However, it will have a more robust electric motor and batteries. The new Reva will be powered by Li-ion batteries making it more reliable and last longer with a single charge. As per initial information, the Reva NXR will be able to run 160 Km in a single charge. Besides, charging the new Reva will also be quicker than the outgoing model. Comparing it will Tata Nano, it will be even cheaper than it in terms of mileage and will also have a similar top speed.

The recently spied pictures indicate that the rear wiper and the extra pair of stop lights have been dropped in the Reva NXR. The Mahindra logo sits tight at the horizontal gray plate just below the rear windshield.

If one asks about the benefits of opting an electric car in place of diesel or petrol one then the straight answer would be it gives you the freedom from gradually mounting fuel prices as well as maneuverability and ease of parking in the city.
