Santa Fe may be launched during Indian Auto Expo 2014
Earlier it was reported that South Korean car maker might unveil the new facelift Santa Fe during the upcoming Indian Auto Expo to be held in February 2014, but now it is reported that company may even launch the SUV during the show along with its unveil. According to reports the new Santa Fe will be based on company’s Fluidic concept and therefore will carry the all new look carrying the same chassis as introduced in i40 from company. Prior to unveiling in Indian car market company had introduced the same model in China last with options of two engines. But it is expected that company will introduced only 2.2 litre 195 bhp diesel model in Indian car market carried from the existing model of Santa Fe. However it has been upgraded according to requirements of generation next buyers delivering better mileage and low emissions.
It is also reported that with an objective of reducing the cost company will assemble parts of Santa Fe at its manufacturing plant located in Chennai as the result of which it is expected that it might be priced around Rs. 22 lakh. The existing versions of Santa Fe are being brought in Indian car market through Completely Built Unit road due to which its cost increases.

It is speculated that the new Santa Fe will be tough contender for Chevrolet Captiva and Fortuner from Toyota. With an objective to grab attention of customer’s Korean auto giant has decided to adjust with its price and offer remarkable features in this seven seater vehicle.
