Skoda Fabia 2021 Spotted Testing In Europe
Czech carmaker Skoda has been working on bringing the new generation of Fabia hatchback from a long time. Now it is for the first time that the spies have captured the images of camouflaged Fabia for the first time on the European roads. It is believed that the carmaker is readying to launch its new generation in the European countries during the first quarter of the next year.

The upcoming generation of the Fabia will be its fourth generation and developed on the MQB AO modular platform outsourced from the German carmaker Volkswagen. The same platform is being used on developing the Volkswagen Polo, Audi A1, and SEAT Ibiza. An interesting feature of the MQB platform is that it offers extra space inside the cabin. Along with this it also offers an improved driving experience to the buyers. According to the images captured by the spies the new Fabia carries the looks similar to Scala hatchback and the new Octavia.
Under the hood, it is believed to equipped with a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged options. Moving ahead, the transmission duties will also include the option of a five-speed manual gearbox, six-speed manual gearbox, and a seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission system. It is speculated that the company might also introduce its hybrid version, as offered in the new Octavia. The hybrid trim helps in controlling the levels of emissions and improving fuel efficiency.
From the images captured by the spies although nothing is much clear, still, it is believed that on the exterior front the new Fabia will be equipped with sleek headlamps followed by slender split headlamps. All the lights will receive the LED lighting system. It is also noticed that the dimensionally the Fabia 2021 will receive enlarged length and width followed by extra interior space. As far as features inside the cabin are concerned nothing has been so far revealed by the spies.
