Skoda Launches Sportline Version Of Superb Sedan
Skoda India, the Indian alliance of Czech car maker Skoda has introduced the Sportline version of its luxurious sedan Superb in the Indian car market with the starting price of Rs. 28.99 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs. 31.49 lakh for the diesel variant. Both the prices are ex-showroom prices for these variants. As the name suggests the Sportline version carries the sportier look as an impact of cosmetic changes introduced on the exterior front. It will be offered with three color options of Velvet Red, Steel Grey and Moon White.
Mechanically, the petrol of variant of Skoda Superb Frontline is empowered with 1.8 litre engine that is capable of boosting the power of 176 bhp and the torque of 250Nm. The transmission duties in this variant are performed by seven DSG system. The diesel variant is energized with 2.0 litre engine that churns the power of 174 bhp and the torque of 350Nm. The engine is mated with six speed DSG transmission system.
On the exterior front the Superb Sportline is embellished with bi-xenon headlapms followed by blacked out front grill, the side skirts and the front rear view mirrors, further enhance its sportier looks. The side profile receives seventeen inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The integration of chrome lights at the diffuser further enhances its rear view, which looks eye catching with placement of Sportline logo on both sides of the front fenders. Inside the cabin, it receives black Alcantara leather seats with silver stitching, LED ambient lighting, three spoke steering wheel with mounted controls. The front seats are electrically adjustable and blessed with memory functions. It would be interesting to see the Superb inscription mounted on the front and rear door sill strips, as you unlock the door to step in.
