Suzuki introduces Swift Lupin III special edition!
Suzuki Italy, the Japanese car maker, Suzuki Motors’ Italian subsidiary has devoted the Swift edition to one of the best comic characters, Lupin III. Well, Lupin III is a Japanese comic manga series from Kazuhiko Kato (Pen name – Monkey Punch). Aresene Lupin III is the thief gang leader, who is regarded as greatest thief due to his amazing theft adventures. And now, the car maker has this time dedicated the entire special edition of its most famous car ‘Swift’ to world’s greatest thief.
This special edition is available in 4-cylinder, 1.2 liter petrol engine and another 1.3 liter turbo-diesel inline. However, this edition of Swift would be offered only in the Passion Red color and will have chrome accents on the fog lamps and the door handles. Furthermore, it will be offered with a ten year insurance policy that covers theft, robbery and fire.

On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki, the Indian subsidiary of Suzuki Motors has also recently launched the old Dzire’s new avatar for taxi segment, named ‘Swift Dzire Tour’. Though, the new Dzire is already on the shores with better dynamics smaller boot and better interiors, but the old Swift Dzire had received good response from the taxi car buyers. Therefore, considering the demands of the taxi segment buyers, the old Dzire has now turned out to be the Swift Dzire Tour with large boot space, lesser price and efficient engine. The company silently unveiled the Dzire Tour that will be sold only to the commercial car buyers and would be available only in Lxi (petrol) and Ldi (diesel) variants. Furthermore, to bring down the price of this car, the company has crafted it with black color bumpers, steel wheels, black door handles and sticker letters on boot instead of chrome plated letters.
As far as the price of Swift Tour is concerned, a commercial buyer can get the LXi variant of this car at price of Rs. 4.88 lakh while, the Ldi variant would be available at the price of Rs. 5.91 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom prices figures of New Delhi.
