Swift Sport heads to, Honda City VA launched in Malaysia

Maruti Swift is one of the few cars that is untouched by the slowdown in the economy in India. Worldwide as well the car seems to keep the sales as well as excitement in motion. The latest update is that the Swift Sport is soon to enter the Malaysian market. But India still awaits the Swift Sport launch. Meanwhile, there are reports that the limited edition model of Honda City called as City VA is launched in Malaysia. In the VA model, Honda has added a lot of value added features such as navigation system. In the meantime, Honda India is preparing the Honda Amaze, the first diesel Honda car for a launch.

The Swift Sport that will soon be launched in Malaysia will have a 1.6 L petrol engine with a power output of 136 PS and 160Nm torque. Touching 100 kmph mark in just under 9 seconds is a specialty of Swift Sport and is known for its high maneuverability as well as agility on twists and turns. The car has a top speed of 192 Kmph. Recently, the Swift Sport was spied in Malaysia in an almost uncamouflaged state and this indicates that the car launch is very near. This car will be launched in automatic as well as manual transmission models.  

The Honda City VA that has been launched in Malaysia has leather seats, new GPS and only 300 units of this special edition will be produced. It seems that the City VA is similar to the Honda City AVN that is sold in India as there is close similarity between the features of these two cars. iPod connectivity, DVD, MP3 playback and a lot of other multimedia features all make this car a special edition car. In addition to features, the car has new color choices as well. The Honda City VA price is RM 93,480 or Rs 16.18 lakh in Indian currency.
