Tata Hexa Introduced With Price Tag of Rs. 11.99 Lakh
Finally the wait for Hexa SUV from domestic car maker Tata Motors came to end today with its launch at starting price of Rs. 11.99 lakh for its base variant and going high to Rs. 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi) for its top end variant. Designed by the experts of three countries the Tata Hexa SUV is empowered with 2.2 litre VARICOR diesel engine that is capable for offering two options of power generation efficiency. The VARICOR320 engine generates the power of 148bhp and torque of 320Nm, while the VARICOR 400 boosts the power of 154 bhp and torque of 400Nm. The transmission duty is performed by six speed manual gear transmission system, however there is also an option of automatic transmission system offered on all trims except the base variant.

The notable features offered in Tata Hexa includes side and curtain airbags, climate control system, ABS+ESP, leather seats, Harman Sound System, ambient lighting system, and cruise control system. These features are however offered in different trims and offered depending upon the preference of buyers. With an objective to offer smooth driving experience to drivers the Hexa has been offered with four driving modes namely Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road. The Tata Hexa is expected to be the tough contender for Mahindra XUV 500 and Toyota Innova Crysta.
Developed on company’s IMPACT design philosophy the exterior of Hexa sports features like ‘Humanit’' inspired front grille, smoked projector headlamps with DRLs at the front fascia, the roof rails are offered as standard feature on all trims. The side profile adorns 19 inch machine cut alloy wheels, whereas the rear profile has wraparound LED tail lamp cluster along with integrated spoiler, chrome garnished tailgate and fog lamps. Dimensionally Tata Hexa has the length 4,788 mm, width of 1,903 mm, height of 1,791 mm, wheelbase of 2,850 mm and ground clearance of 200 mm.
