The world’s largest auto expo at Frankfurt starts with a bang!
The much talked about auto show at Frankfurt got underway on Tuesday, which will become witness of the launch and display of a series of new cars and concepts in next two weeks. This is the 64th IAA International Motor Show, which is claimed to be the largest auto show in the world. A number of car maker have prepared well to showcase their future design concepts at this show, enhancing its significance for car enthusiasts. In addition to this, a number of new car models will be launched during the two weeks of this show, making it’s one of the most sought after auto shows in the world.
More than 1000 exhibitors from over 35 countries will be taking part in this mega event. As many as 80 premiers are expected to be organized by car makers during this show. The show bears high significance for the BRIC nations (Brazil, Russia, Indian and China) as these markets are growing at a very good pace, while half of the European market is struggling with slowdown in sales.
This time around, the car makers have come-up with exciting and innovative ideas to attract the visitors towards their platforms. The leading luxury car maker in Europe, Audi has arranged a large space age display area, where it is not only displaying its car models but also offering opportunity of taking test drive of their favourite models to the visitors.
The much awaited car models that have lined-up for display at their respective platforms at this show include Audi’s new small hatchback and A2 concept, Jaguar’s CX-16, new age Land Rover Defender, Volkswagen.
Volkswagen UP!, Skoda Mission L concept, Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale, Bentley Continental GTC, porcelain based version of Bugatti Veyron, Mercedes Benz ML Class SUV and Mercedes Benz A-Class Concept, updated Hyundai i30, and many more.
