Toyota commences the bookings of Innova Crysta Petrol

Encouraged from the success of refreshed version of Innova MPV christened as Innova Crysta, Japanese car maker Toyota is going to launch the its petrol variant soon in Indian car market and for this bookings have been commenced by car maker. According to reports deliveries of petrol variant are expected to start from August 2016. Launched almost two months during the month of May, the new Innova Crysta succeeded in impressing the buyers across the country and retained its crown of best selling MPV in Indian car market.

At the time of its launch it was launched in diesel variant with engine options of 2.4 litre and 2.8 litre. The proposed petrol variant will be enriched with 2.7 litre four cylinder engine which will be mated with five speed manual gear transmission system and six speed automatic transmission system. It is expected to be offered with starting price of Rs. 14.7 lakh (ex-showroom price). Earlier also the petrol variant was introduced by Toyota in the first series of Innova, but going to poor sales it was discontinued from market. But going through the encouraging response of buyers toward its new version company announced to bring the petrol variant of Innova Crysta soon in market. According to reports after launch in Indian car market the same version of Innova Crysta petrol will be introduced in International car market. 
 
After launching petrol variant of Innova Crysta, the company will be in position to sale the MPV in Delhi/NCR region, where transportation of diesel vehicles about 2000 cc displacement capacity has been banned by Supreme Court of India. It is believed that with launch of petrol variant and its sale in Delhi/NCR region car maker will succeed in covering the losses which it had faced due to ban of diesel vehicles in Delhi.
