Toyota Etios Liva launched at 3.99 lakh

Toyota Etios Liva is launched today at 12.50 p.m. The price for the base model of Etios Liva starts from Rs. 3.99 Lac and goes up to Rs. 4.99 Lac for different variants. Keeping in mind the millions of recalls by Toyota Motors globally for its other models in the recent past, Toyota Etios Liva has been tested for more than 1 Lac kms. under different conditions. Toyota plans to sell 20,000 Cars by this year end.

During the press conference at the time of Liva launch Toyota management looked too much focused in building the Etios as a superior brand in the sedan and hatchback segment.

Another important aspect of Etios cars is that they are India first cars. It means Etios Cars are specially designed, tested and manufactured for keeping the Indian Consumers in the mind. Company has no plans to launch any major car until 2013 except the variants of existing models.

Company M.D. Mr. Singh told the reporters that they strongly want to create a major share in the hatchback segment with Toyota Etios Liva which is around 35% of the total car market. Mr. Singh also told that they haven’t found the requirement of Diesel version for Etios Liva in there surveys that’s why they are not considering bring the diesel version of Etios Liva in near future. Although Toyota is ready with the Diesel technology but they will use it only when a substantial demand will be generated for it.

Mr. Singh also declined any possibility to launch Toyota Etios Liva with automatic transmission as the market demand is not there.

The booking amount for Etios Liva is kept Rs. 50,000 and few Toyota dealers will start giving the delivery of Liva from today itself.

Toyota is envisioned to establish its name in the most demanded hatchback segment on cars in the Indian market. And Etios Liva seems to be creating the excitement among the consumers!
