Toyota to experiment more bolder and refreshed design cars on their way

Toyota has said that it will be experimenting new designs in the near future. Till now Toyota cars stressed on reliability and use of products across models to keep the overall cost of the car down. Now that the Toyota is on an experimental spree expect some newer, bolder designs from the stable. Notably, Toyota has an offering in each segment in India and recently Toyota Etios Liva in the hatchback segment and Toyota Etios in the sedan segment has done considerably well in March. Toyota Innova is no doubt the sole leader in MPV segment.

With the new design philosophy in place, the more conservative outlook will be left and newer more bolder designs are to follow. Akio Toyoda, grandson of the company's founder and the chief executive as well told media in Tokyo that the company will now take risks. Thus in order bring in new models and more modern models, the development system of the company will be strengthened and design engineers will be given more freedom to experiment and create some of the best Toyota cars. In addition to it, Toyota will also be emphasizing on procuring cars that suit to the local tastes.

Notably, Toyota Motors has been able to maintain itself as a brand that is reliable and that provides highly reliable cars. In India, the brand is known to provide reliable cars. Toyota Qualis and Toyota Innova have led in this category and were tagged as a car for ages. Similarly the Toyota Fortuner SUV in India takes on terrains well and has shown promising numbers on the sales chart recently. However, Innova is soon to have its rival from Maruti stable in the form of Maruti Ertiga tomorrow. It is expected that Maruti Ertiga launch will greatly affect Innova sales.
