Volkswagen coming up with parts distribution centre at Bhiwandi

German luxury car maker Volkswagen is strengthening its presence in India and in an effort to perfect the parts availability for its cars in India, the car manufacturer has decided to set up a regional parts distribution centre. The RDC as it is called will be set up at Bhiwandi in Maharashtra and it will be operational by 2014. With this channel becoming operational, VW will smoothen the process of parts availability. Notably, the biggest factor that desists car buyers from buying any foreign brand car is firstly the lack of trust in the brand and secondly the availability of parts. People generally complain that spare parts of foreign brand cars are no available easily. This is one of the reasons why Maruti, Tata and Mahindra cars precede in terms of sales and service than the foreign brands.
