Volkswagen launched facelift Jetta today in Indian car market
Proving all speculations and rumors wrong regarding launch of upgraded saloon Jetta next year during January, German car maker Volkswagen has silently launched the facelift Jetta in Indian car market with three price options falling between Rs. 13.7 lakh and Rs. 19.43 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi). Talking about the facelifts company has made various updates on both exteriors and interiors of the car.
As far as engine configuration is concerned company has carried the same existing 1.4 litre TSI petrol and 2.0 litre diesel engine in this upgraded version. The petrol engine develops the power of 122 bhp and torque of 200 Nm whereas the diesel engine churns the power of 140 bhp and top torque of 320 Nm. The diesel engine is available with six speed DSG automatic gearbox whereas the other variants are equipped with six speed manual gearbox.
Moving towards the features mounted on the exteriors include new Xenon headlights supported with washers followed by LED daytime running lights. Both trendline and comfortline variants are now equipped with 16 inch Sedona alloy wheels. On the other side interiors have been developed with dual zone climatronic AC, followed by high defined audio system that supports connectivity with Bluetooth. As far as safety measures are concerned company has integrated ABS, ESP and six airbags.
