Volkswagen launches Fast Start campaign, Lucky 13 contest on January 13
Volkswagen is among those European car makers that is getting high volumes in India. Its two offerings Volkswagen Polo and Volkswagen Vento have created a space of their own in their respective segments. These cars are known for their comfort, safety and features. In order to further reach of their cars to the Indians, the car maker has launched the “Fast Start” campaign. In this awareness and brand strengthening exercise, VW will be highlighting the features offered by its cars. The campaign also aims at increasing the brand’s presence as well as increasing interest for VW cars in India. VW is focusing on Polo and Vento cars as these cars are volume pullers and these have a starting price of Rs 4.6 lakh and Rs 7.18 lakh respectively.

The Fast Start is certainly going to add a lot of enthusiasm to sales that is sensed to be marred by the ongoing slowness in the industry. As industry seers have predicted the slump to continue this year it is believed that one can see more of these coming forth from other car makers as well. Meanwhile, VW has already begun with TV commercials and advertisements in newspapers and magazines and all these are aimed at highlighting the features of these two best selling Volkswagen car in India.

In addition to the advertisements and commercials on television, VW will also launch Lucky 13 contest that kicks off on the coming 13 of this month. This campaign will be open to all the Polo and Vento buyers and the campaign intends to change the perception about the number 13. Notably, in India 13 is considered to be unlucky number. Thus, these are other attempts by the car maker in making its cars in highlight. VW every now and then keeps its brand at the forefront. Be it the IPL when VW launched the special IPL edition of Polo and Vento or some other occasion, the German car maker believes in newness.
