Volkswagen Polo available at huge discount
With new Volkswagen Polo hatchback to soon debut in Indian market during next month, German car maker has announced huge discount of Rs. 75,000 on purchase of any variant of Polo’s line-up. The discount offer will be valid up-to June 30, 2014. Industry experts believe with this discount offer the car maker wishes to exhaust the existing stock of Polo from Indian car market. Prior to this the car maker had discontinued the GT TDI and Trendline trims of hatchback. According to sources apart from this the GT TSI trim will also not be available for sale during coming six months.
The discount offer of Rs.75,000 includes cash discount, insurance fee reduction, and corporate concession summing to Rs. 55,000 followed by exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000. Thus making the total benefits of Rs, 75,000 on purchase of Polo hatchback. One thing which needs to be mentioned here is that this discount could be availed depending up-on the trim and meeting few standards.
According to sources the diesel trims of new 1.5 diesel Polo will start reaching on showrooms from the second of week of next month. These news trims will not carry the badge of GT on their front fascia, although company will provide GT variants of hatchback on demand of the buyers. The upcoming hatchback will be offered in both petrol and diesel variants. With diesel variant equipped with 1.5 litre diesel engine with two engine tunes of 89 bhp and 104 bhp. Whereas the petrol variant will be equipped with 3 cylinder 1.2 litre petrol engine and 4 cylinder 1.2 litre TSI trubo engine.
