Volkswagen Polo facelift might be launched in September
German car maker Volkswagen has recently disclosed the pictures of facelift Polo on various social media platforms indicating to launch it soon in Indian car market. Industry experts believe that this launch might take place during the festive season starting from the month of September. The major features offered in facelift Polo includes newly designed bumper followed with new headlamps supported with LED daytime running lamps. Apart from these noticeable changes the facelift will also be offered with new engine option of 1.5 litre diesel engine replacing the ongoing 1.6 litre GT TDI diesel engine.

The newly introduced 1.5 litre diesel engine will be coated with five speed manual transmission system and also with option of self shifting dual clutch seven speed transmission system. This engine is expected to generate the power of 89 bhp. It is also reported that company will discontinue the existing configuration of 1.2 litre diesel.
Apart from this the facelift Polo will also receive various remarkable changes including new high defined music system. It is speculated that after Polo company will launch the facelift version of Vento also in Indian car market with noticeable tweaks which will be according to requirements of generation next buyers. However company will continue the same engine configuration of 1.5 litre diesel engine, but with an option of seven speed DSG box.
