Volkswagen Polo GT TSI launched at Rs 7.99 lakh
The German car maker Volkswagen has finally launched the class leader sports variant of its flagship premium hatchback Volkswagen Polo in India at mouthwatering price. The new powerful variant of the hatchback is called the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI and priced at Rs 7.99 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). The new powerful 1.2L turbo petrol engine powered variant of the vehicle sports a 7 speed DSG dual clutch automatic gearbox.
The new launched Polo 1.2 TSI GT has a 1.2 Liter turbo petrol engine under the hood generates maximum power of 105 Bhp along with peak torque of 175 NM which is similar to outgoing 1.6L petrol engine variant of the premium hatchback. This 7 speed DSG dual clutch automatic gearbox packed TSI GT variant of the Polo is not only powerful but also a highly fuel efficient. As per ARAI certificates, mileage of the new Polo 1.2 TSI is 17.2 Kmpl.
Performance of the vehicle is tremendous as it is capable to catch the speed of 0-100 Kph in just 9.7 seconds while the top speed of the vehicle is 190 Kph. All features and specs of the new GT TSI variant prove it a class leader in terms of technology and performance. It will direct challenge the Toyota Etios Liva TRD Sportivo, high-end variants of Fiat Grande Punto, Skoda Fabia Scout and upcoming Maruti Swift Sport.
