Volkswagen roar continues; secures an upward movement of 67% in October sales
Since its launch in India the renowned auto giant Volkswagen Group has rarely faced a downfall in the auto sector. Once again it has posted a rise of 67.30% with a sale of 7,266 vehicles in October month.
As per the company spokesperson, in October 2010, the firm had made sales of 4,343 vehicles. The sedan Volkswagen Vento and hatchback Polo play an important role for the German brand in the country. Overall 6,814 vehicles of both models were sold this year in October month, he added.
Mr. Neeraj Garg, Director and Board Member in Volkswagen passenger cars division said that their strategic move to introduce limited Breeze edition of Polo and Vento has again paid off. The company received huge appeal from the car buyers, during the recently concluded festive season, he added.
The Breeze edition of these cars meant to have additional elements worth INR 40, 000 that could be yours at the same price of the vehicle; no need to pay extra for these features.
The limited version of Polo Breeze is offered on petrol variant. The hatchback comes packed with upholstered leather seats, satellite navigation system, extra pillows and floor mats with Breeze embedded on to it and Breeze stickers on the exterior of Polo along with rear park distance control system.
The sedan Vento Breeze limited version is loaded with screen touch multi-media player with Bluetooth connectivity and USB interface, similar to Polo, extra pillows with Breeze engraved on to it, along with Breeze stickers on the outer part of the vehicle. The restricted version of Vento is offered on the Trendline variants of petrol and diesel powered Volkswagen Vento.
The Germany based Volkswagen Group is a parent company to many class leading brands in the world, in India at present it has Audi and Skoda brand with soon to come is SEAT; the Spanish subsidiary of the group.
