The VW’s chief of product development, Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg has said that he is precisely researching for the compact SUV and MPV segments along with the company’s futuristic MQB platform.

The brand new five-seater Polo / Vento SUV & MPV and seven-seater Golf-based MPV are also on the cards. In India, the sophistication and high production cost of the new VW’s MQB platform based vehicles will be the most difficult task to manage, stated by the official sources. However, there are expected delays for the fresh VW’s arrivals due to the lack of good automotive business strategies by the Indian government.
