Volkswagen to offer new avatars of Polo hatchabckat Geneva Motor Show 2014
Volkswagen the German car maker plans to explore the fleet of its Polo hatchback cars and will showcase them during forthcoming Geneva Motor Show 2014. Apart from this it will also showcase EU-6 engines and new infotainment and assistance system also during the show. The new engine concept will improve the fuel efficiency of vehicle. The new models of Volkswagen Polo which will be unveiled during the show are codenamed as Polo TSI BlueMotion, Polo TDI BlueMotion, Polo BlueGT. The models of Polo will be offered with R-Line exteriors and few new interior changes.
Till now Polo Bluemountain was offered in turbodiesel but now the Polo TSI BlueMotion will be also offered with turbocharged petrol engine. The newly introduced Polo BlueMotion TSI turbocharged petrol engine will deliver an average of 24 kmpl which is not found in any other car in same segment. The second member of the family i.e., Polo TDI BlueMotion will be equipped with three cylinder engine churning the power of 75 PS and deliver an average of 32 kmpl. The last but not the least third member of family named as Polo BlueGT will be blessed with cylinder shut-off system thus enhancing the fuel efficiency of vehicle, it develops the power of 150 PS.
The upcoming Cross Polo will be offered in new colors, new seat fabric, new type of wheel, new smoked rear lights and few more, all of them designed keeping the requirements of generation next in concern.
