Volkswagen Unveils AllStar Special Edition of Polo
Despite of luring its buyers with new vehicle during the festive season German car maker Volkswagen has opened its cards on one of its best selling hatchback Polo in Indian car market. It is reported that to exploit the benefits of current scenario Volkswagen has unveiled the special edition of Polo christened as Volkswagen Polo AllStar with starting price soon to be disclosed by the company. The special AllStar Edition of Polo undergoes bunch of cosmetic changes and is speculated to be priced Rs. 20,000 costlier than the existing price of its top end variant.

Under the hood the Volkswagen Polo AllStar version continues to be offered with same engine configurations of 1.2 litre and 1.5 litre on petrol and diesel variants respectively. The transmission duty is handled by five speed manual gear transmission system. The special edition is however not introduced in Polo GT TSI and TDI trims of hatchback.

The exterior of Volkswagen Polo AllStar receives new colour treatment of Silk Blue color out sourced from the first ever compact sedan Volkswagen Ameo followed by AllStar badges mounted on B-pillars and scuff plates, new multi-spoke 15 inch diamond cut alloy wheels. Moving inside the cabin you will find driver side armrest, new upholstery, aluminium garnished pedals to give it sportier look and of-course the most notable feature rear air conditioner vents which are not offered in any other hatchback except Hyundai i20.
It is reported that Indian arm of German car maker, Volkswagen India is also working on bringing the updated versions of Volkswagen Polo and Volkswagen Vento soon in coming months. From the pictures revealed by spies in cyber world the refreshed version of these vehicles will be embellished with LED DRLs, rear air conditioner vents as offered in AllStar edition and new touchscreen infotainment system with MirrorLink
