14,000 bookings for Celerio within a fortnight

After receiving encouraging response from all segments during the Indian Auto Expo 2014, Maruti Celerio, the new hatchback from country’s leading car manufacturing Maruti Suzuki India Limited has received the same response from the customers after coming into showrooms. According to company sources more than 14,000 bookings have been so far registered by customers showing their interest towards Celerio.
 
The new Celerio has been launched by company to replace its existing hatchbacks, A-Star and Estilo. It is equipped with 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder K-Series petrol engine producing the power of 67 bhp and torque of 90 Nm. The major impressive feature offered in Celerio is introduction of Automatic Manual Transmission system which facilitates the driver to change gear at an ease.

It is claimed that as an impact of newly introduced automatic manual transmission system, the new Celerio will be more fuel efficient as compared to its ancestors. According to industry experts the ARAI certificate of fuel consumption certifying the average of 23.1 kmpl is another factor which has played an important role in attracting car enthusiasts towards this hatchback.
