2020 Mahindra Scorpio Spied With Head-Up Display
The Mahindra Scorpio is not just an SUV, it’s a living legend that still dominates the SUV segment despite various new entrants. The craze of Indian buyers towards Scorpio can be witnessed from the fact that any discussion on the SUVs is incomplete without the mention of Scorpio. Now once again the SUV is in the limelight. According to recent reports, the domestic carmaker is working on bringing the upgraded version of the Scorpio in 2020 and unveil the same during the upcoming Indian Auto Expo 2020. Recently, the spies captured the refreshed Scorpio being tested on the Indian roads.
The reports revealed by the spies say that in its new avatar the Scorpio will receive a bunch of new features, mainly the head up dashboard appearing above the steering wheel. This facilitates the driver to access different types of information like speed, even driving instructions via sat nav despite moving his eyes from the road. With the integration of a HUD in the new Scorpio the domestic car owner which is recognized for providing the true value of money to its buyers has hinted that the upcoming XUV500 might also get the same feature.

Under the hood, the Scorpio will receive the new BS-VI compliant 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine that is reported to generate more power and torque. The transmission duties will be performed by a six-speed manual transmission system along with an option of the six-speed automatic transmission system.
It is speculated that the base variants of the 2020 Scorpio will not be equipped with HUD, whereas the top-end variants are believed to be offered with additional features like a large touchscreen infotainment system that supports connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and fully digital instrument cluster. One more interesting feature that will be offered inside the cabin will include front-facing third-row seats.
