2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Updated With New DualJet Engine
The country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited has silently launched the 2022 S-Presso in the Indian car market. The price of S-Presso 2022 starts from Rs 4.25 lakh and is Rs 70,000 costlier than the existing version. Under the hood, it receives a new 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated dual jet petrol engine. In its new version, the engine of S-Presso also gets the new idle-stop engine on-off feature, turning the engine off if the vehicle is kept in a stationary position for a few seconds. To restart the engine, the driver has to press the clutch or the accelerator and the engine will start smoothly. The introduction of idle-stop technology is developed to improve fuel efficiency.
The additional features added in the 2022 S-Presso include an array of features like Electronic Stability (ESP) and the hill hold technology safety features are available on the AGS trims of S-Presso. Moving ahead, the top-end variants are offered with extra features like electronically adjustable wing mirrors, cabin air filters and a few more. The list of safety features is also increased. As far as standard safety features are concerned they remain the same including ABS+EBD, a high-speed warning system, reverse parking sensors, dual-airbags for front seat passengers, and seat belt reminders. The list of comfortable features includes a touchscreen infotainment system, an air conditioner, and a power steering wheel with mounted controls.
Addressing the launch of S-Presso 2022, Mr Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, “S-Presso with its bold SUVish design has carved a strong niche for itself. Within a short span of around three years, we have sold over 202,500 units of S-Presso, a strong testimony that it stirred the right notes with customers. The new S-Presso with refined 1.0 K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Idle Start-Strop technology, enhanced fuel efficiency* and added features will offer an engaging drive experience to customers.
