Audi Aurangabad plant meant for Audi Q7 and Q3
The Audi India seems much focused to increase its production capacity by setting up the new assembly line at the Aurangabad plant in Maharashtra, especially for the Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs). A senior executive of the Audi India has admitted that the Aurangabad plant will be set-up with an intention to ramp up the production of the Audi Q7 and Audi Q3 SUVs upto 8, 000 units by the end of the year.
Company is struggling hard to stand against the dominance of its main rivals, the Mercedes Benz and BMW. The Head of the Audi India, Micheal Perschke said that it’s the company’s strategy to bring a revolutionary model every year for the next few years. And for this year Audi has will bring the Audi Q3 that will be the key product to boost-up the company’s growth.

In the Indian automotive market with the positive note of the previous year, Audi has reported the sales growth of more than 80% and now very enthusiastic to expand its Indian operations. The Audi Q3 will be launched against the sensational market of BMW X1, BMW Mini Countryman and Mercedes B Class. It will be priced around 25-30 lakhs.

Audi has pulled the socks to mark a significant appearance in the entry-level car segment with the expected launch of compact sedan cars. The Audi TT model, new Audi A4, Audi S6 and other three models are also in the queue. Company is targeting the small cities as well to flourish its market including the Nagpur, Lucknow, Bhopal and Goa.
