Auto Expo 2014 at Greater Noida in February 2014
If you have planned your itinerary to the next India Auto Expo, then there is a little change of venue and time. The next Auto Expo that is going to witness host of launches such as that of Hyundai i30 or the Ford B Max will be held in Noida and that too in February 2014. The biennial auto show will be organized from February 6 to February 12, 2014. The change in venue and time is said to be the result of its clash with the Detroit Auto Show. Also, at this time, the Pragati Maidan is unavailable to host the Show. It is believed that the show is going to have a fresh lease of life with the change of venue and time.

The organizing agency Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) will be showcasing vehicles and accessories at the India Expo Centre and Mart. It is believed that the new venue and time will fetch more response as the people of India and those coming from other countries have found Pragiti Maidan insufficient to accommodate the crowd. The new venue is larger and reaching to the venue is also easier for the people of India as well as the tourists as it is located in a much open space as compared to Pragati Maidan.

The date shift is a direct result of the clash of the dates with the Detroit Motor Show. Thus the Indian Auto Expo will be able to now have the car enthusiasts from all over the world and they will be able to witness both the shows. As far as the space is concerned, it will be around 50k metres which is over 10k metres compared to Pragati Maidan. Notably, over 7 lakh people visited the 2012 Auto Expo held in New Delhi and this year over 10 lakh visitors are expected.

Hyundai i30 seems very similar to i20 hatchback. Right now, Hyundai is accepting same platform for all the new launching Hyundai cars which will make boring to customers. During Auto Expo 2014 Hyundai should bring out new vehicles on different platform.
