Hyundai i30 launched
UK has got the Hyundai i30 small car. Launched in the premium segment, the i30 has been positioned above the Hyundai i20 hatchback. Being a premium hatch, Hyundai has offered many premium sedan segment features in this new car that is based on the new design concept known as the Fluidic design. Notably, the i30 is also expected in India as there is a gap between the Hyundai i20 and the Hyundai Accent or the Hyundai Verna. The i30 will be targeting this price segment.

In India, the new Hyundai car is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 6 lakh and is expected to be launched soon. The i30 launch in UK has been welcomed well for its awesome exteriors, though close to the design of i20 but it is larger and longer than it is. The new car is expected to set a new trend in the car market in India and worldwide. Reports of its expected launch were regular since it’s unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show held last year. It is seen as a successor of i20 as it has sold pretty well in America where as per the reports over 2.5 lakh units were sold since 2010.

Back in India, the i30 will have to compete with Toyota Etios Liva, Skoda Fabia, Renault Pulse, Fiat Punto, and Honda Jazz besides others which are in the premium hatchback segment. Meanwhile, the i30 is also expected to arrive in a range of options. Among the transmission options will be automatic or manual. The inside of the car will offer utmost comfort and it will have dual air conditioning with climate control apart from a lot of safety features. Erected on an aluminum body, the i30 is light in weight and thus the engine options too perform well on the new car.
