Automatic Mitsubishi Pajero Sport launched with price tag of Rs. 23.55 lakh (ex-showroom price)
Japanese multinational car maker Mitsubishi has launched the automatic version of its highly acclaimed SUV Pajero Sport in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 23.55 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi). The automatic version of Pajero Sport, adorns the same engine configuration of 2.5 litre CRDi diesel engine developing the power of 178 PS and torque of 300 Nm, which is 50 Nm less than compared to 4x4 option. The engine is offered with five speed automatic transmission system and interestingly is fuel efficient that compared to existing version as it will deliver an average of 12.1 kmpl.
Talking about the physical changes that have been offered in new automatic version it has received subtle changes which include newly designed chrome grille and front bumper on the exteriors. On the interiors front it receives reverse parking display, 2 DIN multimedia system, ORVM cover integrated indicators and automatic climate control. The SUV has been launched with two wheel driver option and will compete against Chevrolet Captiva AWD, Toyota Fortuners 4x2 AT, Ford Endeavor 4x2 AT and SsangYong Rexton RX7 AT.
The SUV has been launched with 2 wheel drive option and would be available in passionate White Solid, Cool Silver Metallic, Titanium Gray Metallic, Black Mica and Deep Blue Mica colors and would be assembled at Tiruvallur production unit at Tamil Nadu.
