BMW i3 Coupe concept details swarm in, India launch certain

The German car giant and the luxury car segment leader in India BMW has unveiled the details of the BMW i3 coupe concept. The car will be an all electric car and it will be the model that will inspire all the future electric cars made by BMW. The i3 will be a coupe and will have three doors but will preserve almost the same well acclaimed design language of the BMW X1 and BMW X3. As per the details available, in order to keep the weight of the car down to a bare minimum, it will have a carbon fibre body. To ensure that there is no dearth of power even if it is an electric car, BMW will be putting a 170 hp motor under the hood. The peak torque will be 250 Nm. BMW i3 India launch plans are on cards and it will be introduced in India soon after the world debut.  

The car will be powered by a battery pack consisting of Li-ion batteries and all these will be placed so well in the car that these occupy no extra space. Besides, the car will have high degree of maneuverability due to the light body and it seems that it will have a most respectful acceleration in its segment due to the light weight body and the positioning of the batteries. Every single measure has been taken to cut the weight of the body as well as keep the car stable at high speeds as well. As per the details, the car will have per charge running capacity of 160 kmph and there will be a battery pack charger that will quickly top up power into the batteries within no time.  

In addition to this, BMW has made this car a fun to drive and BMW ConnectedDrive functions will further enhance its connectivity with the outside world on the move. Equipped with latest navigations and other connection features, this will be the first BMW car that will have all time network connectivity. Besides, the occupants comfort and entertainment has also been given prime importance and it will have the latest invent music system and smartphone connectivity.
