BMW X1 facelift to hit the showrooms in India on V-Day!

If you consider cars as your first love, then this Valentine’s Day is going to be very special. BMW India is all set to bring in its X1 facelift to India on 14th Feb 2013. BMW X1 has always been one of the best selling products in the country and with the facelift coming over soon, makes it exciting for the firm as well as for its fans. The price of this new model is expected to be Rs. 500000 more than the current price of the car. So what’s new in the new BMW X1 SUV? Well a lot of cosmetic changes along with some modified interiors.

The outside of the car sees new front grille along with silver finish on it. With this headlamps have also been refurbished and the front bumper has been given a bit of style. The ORVMs have new design together with the sills on the lower body side are altered a little. On the other hand, the rear end features a bit larger diffuser. On the inside, the centre console has been revised, while the silver finishing on the steering wheel and chrome lining on the AC vents add a bit of glamour here.

As far as the technical specifications are concerned, the engine options will be kept same. But the eight-speed automatic transmission would be the new spice here. This new gearbox promises better fuel economy and ensure that the car will deliver impressive mileage figures. If reports are to be believed, the entire new model of BMW X1 would be arriving in the global car bazaar by 2015.With the launch of BMW X1 facelift on this V-Day, it has to be prepared for more competition, which is already present in the form of Audi Q5 and Audi R8.
