Book Generation Next Hyundai Santro By Paying Rs. 11,100
Before the launch of generation next Santro hatchback in the Indian car market on October 23, 2018, Hyundai Motor India Limited has commenced its bookings at the down payment of Rs. 11,100. According to the sources of company it will offer special introductory prices to the first 50,000 customers, after which the prices of hatchback will be hiked accordingly. The sources of the company also revealed that depending upon the interest of buyers it will produce 10,000 units of new Santro every month. It is believed that going through the new hot car in the segment during the festive season it will have a good waiting period.
Mechanically, the new Santro will be empowered with 1.1 litre Epsilon series engine that is capable of generating the power of 68 bhp and the torque of 99 Nm. The transmission duties will be performed by five speed manual gearbox and will be offered with an option of five speed Amt system. The trims embellished with manual gearbox are reported to deliver the fuel efficiency of 20.3 kmpl. Along with petrol variant the company will also introduce its CNG version, empowered with the same engine configuration and generate the power of 58 bhp.
Talking about the looks of new Santro, it can be said that it will be the perfect combination of first generation and the current Grand i10 looks. It will be equipped with a plethora of new features like touchscreen infotainment system, rear air conditioner vents, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. On the exterior front also it will carry a different look in the form of new front end with common rear portion. The features may disappoint the buyers are absence of projector headlamps, LED DRLS, and alloy wheels.
