Chevrolet Cruze all set to top the sales charts in US market
Chevrolet Cruze, one of the most popular premium sedans in the country, will soon be adding one more feather in its crown. The car is on its way to become the largest selling car in the US market very soon, leaving behind the strong competitors like Hyundai Avante (Elantra) and Toyota Corolla. In the month of July 2011, GM has managed to sell 26,648 units of the Cruze model in the US market.

In the first seven months of this calendar year, GM USA has sold 147,620 units of premium sedan Cruze, very near to the 154,324 units sold of the segment leader Toyota Corolla in the same period. The firm is all set to launch a diesel version of the Cruze model in the US market next year, which will further strengthen the position of this car in that market.

Besides performing considerably well on roads, the Chevy Cruze is also champion at the racing track. The car was winner at the WTCC in year 2010.
In India, Cruze is receiving good response from the buyers. The car is competing with the likes of Honda Civic, Skoda Laura, Toyota Corolla Altis and Hyundai Sonata in the Indian market.
