Chevrolet Cruze facelift coming soon
Chevrolet Cruze seems to have emerged as an albatross for the ship of Chevrolet in troubled waters. It has in fact helped General Motors come out of the financial crunch witnessing sales of over 1 million cars worldwide. Chevrolet Cruze has been outstandingly successful in bringing good numbers on the sales chart in US despite the market being largely dominated by Toyota Corolla. In India, besides this sedan the recently launched Chevrolet Beat and its diesel make Chevrolet Beat Diesel have made promising entry into their segment and were welcomed well.

Inspired by the success of Chevrolet Cruze, GM has decided to bring in a new facelift avatar of it. As per recent reports, the new Cruze will have a new grille apparently a multi slab type contrary to the beehive type in the exiting model. There will be a change in the shape of the air dam as well which has now gone hexagonal. The fog lamps too have evolved and are triangle shaped to steer the sedan from even the dense foggy conditions.

In the engine department, GM could plant the Chevrolet Capitiva’s 2.2L VCDI engine in new Cruze making the new car more fuel efficient offering better maneuverability. It is quite possible that the in the making EcoTec petrol engine could find a place under the hood of the new Chevrolet Captiva. However, this could become a reality in the coming years. Besides, the electric version of the Chevrolet Cruze is also in the making and being tested voraciously and we could see it finally arrive in the few years to come. Apart from this there are also some changes here and some changes there that will be noticeable and after the facelifted version of Chevrolet Cruze is launched, the company expects a sudden upraise in sales.
