Chevrolet Cruze My 2015 launched in China, priced 109.900 Yuan
U.S. based car maker General Motors has launched the all new Chevrolet Cruze My 2015 in Chinese car market with starting price of 109.900 Yuan (INR 10.8 lakh) for the base variant followed by Yuan 169.900 (INR 16.73 lakh) for the top end variant. The new Chevrolet Cruze My 2015 has been offered with two engine options of 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol engine and 1.5 litre diesel engine. The petrol engine will boost the power of 148bhp and torque of 235 Nm and mated to six speed manual or seven speed DSG gearbox. The diesel engi ne on the other side churns the power of 112 bhp and torque of 146 Nm and will be mated with five speed manual or six speed automatic transmission system.
The exteriors of new Cruze MY 2015 receives the dynamic and aggressive look with split grille, daytime running lights (DRLs) followed by fog lamps, new front bumper with integrated grille, new headlamps with HID projector lamps. On the rear side the saloon sedan receives new tail lights, followed by extra brake light placed above the Chevy bow tie. The Cruze’s logo has been placed on the left side of the bootlid opener accompanied with Shanghai GM marks. Inside the cabin the sedan receives three spoke integrated wheel with all controls mounted on it, newly developed central console, new air conditioner vents and new gear level console.
As far as launch of new Chevrolet Cruze My 2015 in Indian car market is concerned it would be interested to see that whether the U.S based car maker introduces petrol variant of Cruze in India or not. At present the saloon sedan in Indian car market is blessed with 2.0 litre diesel engine. It is anticipated that the new Cruze will soon hit the Indian market as it has now made its entry in Chinese market.
