Chevrolet Cruze with 1.7 L VCDi, delivery to commence in May
American car giant Chevrolet will be making Cruze hatchback in UK more than worth buying soon. The car maker will soon be adding a 1.7 L VCDi diesel model to the existing line up. Currently a 2.0 L VCDi engine is in service of the Cruze hatchback. This will help the Chevrolet car compete well with other cars in the segment with its better fuel economy and low emissions. The Chevrolet Cruze is available as saloon and hatchback body styles in UK and is a strategic product for the American car maker. The Cruze saloon and hatchback are quite popular in the country and the 1.7 VCDi version will add to the popularity.

With a price tag of £16,725, the five door American car Chevrolet Cruze hatchback with the 1.7 L VCDi engine is surely going to have much response as it will comply closely comply with the pollution and other norms that are stricter in UK. The 1.7 L VCDi engine powered Cruze will be able to return a mileage of 62.7 miles per gallon of diesel that is better than the fuel guzzler 2.0 L VCDI engine powered Cruze that delivers 50.4 miles per gallon mileage. The 1.7 L Cruze also is low on emissions and emits only 117 gm per km and is lower by 30 gm per km compared to the 2.0 L VCDi Cruze. This also gives an edge to the car with respect to Ford Focus and Korean car Hyundai i30.

In UK, the Chevrolet is offered in three variant. The entry level variant is LS which has minimal features and air conditioning as standard. The highest trim is LTZ that has alloy wheels, cruise control and climate control besides other stunning features. The booking for the 1.7 L Cruze is on in UK and as per sources, the delivery of the car will commence next month.
