Chevrolet Sail UVA vs Ford Figo
General Motors India was very proud with the launch of Chevrolet Sail UVA hatchback, but it forgot that the hatchback segment in Indian car bazaar is very competitive. The Sail U-VA has been facing a tough fight coming from Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20 and the big one, Ford Figo. Ford has undoubtedly made its Figo one of the best hatchbacks in the country. The car is sailing high since the time it was launched, but with the launch of Sail U-VA, it will become a tough choice for the consumers, when buying one. The first point that we would take into consideration is the price. The new Chevrolet UVA hatchback has been rolled out with a starting price of Rs. 4.44 lakh. But, Ford Figo starts with a price of Rs. 3.84 lakh. Difference is slightly big for average Indian consumers. So, Ford Figo scores much more in this section as compared to Chevrolet Sail UVA.
Next point up for comparison is the mileage. We all know how much importance the mileage keeps whenever one is buying a car. Chevrolet Sail UVA has tried to go-up and snatch the top position from Ford in this section. The petrol Sail hatchback variant gives out 18.2kmpl of mileage and the diesel variant of Sail delivers 22.1kmpl of fuel economy. On the other hand, Ford Figo petrol gives out 15.3kmpl of mileage, while the diesel one delivers 20.0kmpl of fuel efficiency. Therefore, it is quite evident from the figures that in terms of Mileage, Chevrolet Sail U-VA is a perfect fit for your pocket.

Next point is the looks, which according to us is better in Ford Figo. Ford Figo looks quite premium, while if we look at Chevrolet Sail U-VA it gives a very casual yet elegant looks. However, GM India has tried it level best to make its hatchback premium and posh, but Ford Figo still manages to score higher marks here and get back to the top spot again with its exteriors.

Coming to the interiors, the interiors of Chevrolet Sail U-VA are better as compared to Figo. You would find more comfort and space in Sail than in Figo. However, in the end the choice is yours, but if you give high preference to mileage and interiors, Sail UVA is the right choice for you. But if you like premiumness at fewer prices, Figo is there for you!

Chevrolet sail UVA is prefect for middle-class.
New sail uva is really perfect hatchback in its class. Exterior, Interior, look, feature but boot space not seems to be encouraging. If you dont care paying more for elegance and milege, sail uva takes edge over new forg figo.

My previous hatch left me dissatisfied with so many things missing. Not so powerful and cramped from the inside…! Sail U-VA seems to be the best VFM hatch in the market at the moment..
