Chevrolet Trailblazer offered with price tag of Rs. 26.40 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi)
General Motors, the American auto maker, on Wednesday launched its full-sized SUV Chevrolet Trailblazer at a price of Rs 26.4 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. This Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero competitor is GM's third shot in the SUV segment after its Captiva and the Forrester. The SUV comes equipped with a 2.8 litre 4 cylinder engine which produces power of 200 PS @ 3600 and a maximum torque of 500Nm @ 2000 rpm. Sticking to the traditional way of making SUVs, Chevy Trailblazer has a body-on-frame Chasis.
"The Trailblazer is Chevrolet's toughest yet most refined SUV, offering premium ride and handling dynamics," said Arvind Saxena, GM India President and Managing Director. It has a command, presence and a host of first in class features along with the latest technology and design. The company said that the UV will be available for booking Wednesday October 21 onwards at a booking amount of Rs 25,000. Trailblazer will be imported from Thailand.
