Chevrolet Trailblazer showcased, India launch soon

The American car maker has unveiled the Chevrolet Trailblazer at the Moscow International Motor Show and has found it the best place to showcase it to the world that has been waiting for this SUV for long. The Chevrolet SUV is highly anticipated in India and the country eagerly awaits its launch that is expected to happen any time this year. The Trailblazer price is expected to be Rs 15 lakh and this SUV will be competing with the top model of Mahindra XUV 500, Tata Aria, Skoda Yeti and Tata Safari.

As per the reports, the SUV is built on a new platform and that has made it different from other SUV. This platform has a specialty that it makes the car much sturdy and thus it is able to tackle any terrain. The SUV will be giving ultimate off roading taste to those who hate the road and love the outskirts. The European models of the Trailblazer will be powered by 3.6 L V6 petrol engine option. This engine has a maximum power output capacity of 255 hp and that too at very low rpms. The diesel heart will be a 2.8 L which has a peak power output of 180 hp. Measuring over 4.8 m the big sized SUV promises an altogether different SUV touch. Equipped with ABS, traction control and electronic brakeforce distribution system, the SUV is safe and can handle any terrain with ease.

Apart from this, the Trailblazer has cruise control for perfect control on the road and sliding sunroof to keep the interiors fresh and to keep the occupants near to nature. The seats have heating facility and are power operated to keep them at the right position. In India, the Trailblazer will be positioned under the Chevrolet Captiva SUV and is expected to take the advantage of being in segment where there are major chunk of SUV buyers.
