Datsun Redi-Go launching on June 7, 2016
Datsun the subsidiary of Japanese car maker Nissan Motors will launch its product Redi-Go in Indian car market tomorrow on June 7, 2016 in Mumbai. Developed on CMF-A platform as used in Kwid hatchback by French car maker Renault Motors, the car was showcased as concept car during Indian Auto Expo 2014 and carries the same looks as showcase during the event.
To be energized with 799 cc petrol engine boosting the power of 54 bhp and torque of 72Nm, the Redi-Go will be mated with five speed manual gear box system and is reported to deliver an average of 25.17 kmpl. It is expected to emerge as tough contender to Maruti Suzuki Alto and Kwid from Renault due to its competitive pricing strategy. It is speculated to be offered with starting price tag of Rs. 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom price).
It will be offered in overall five variant namely D, A, T, T(O) and S as top end variant. The entry level variant D will be just a base variant without any specific feature. The top end variant S will embellish features like power steering, air conditioner, rear folding seats, infotainment system, digital tachometer and a driver side air bag. The other variants A, T, T(O) will have an option to features offered in S variant equipped in it.
