Delhi International Auto Expo 2012 set to amaze car enthusiasts
The 11th edition of Delhi International Auto Expo is just round the corner and the excitement among the car enthusiasts is at its best. At one hand, car firms are looking forward to capitalize on the large number of car enthusiasts and prospective buyers at this show, by showcasing their latest car models and future car concepts. On the other hand, the visitors and car enthusiasts are getting ready for pure entertainment and display of a series of jaw-dropping cars.
This time the event of Auto Expo will be witnessing even higher number of car launches and displays. A range of new cars will be rolled-out at the show that includes the likes of Maruti’s first ever Multi Purpose Vehicle Maruti Ertiga, Renault’s compact hatchback Pulse, BMW’s cheaper car series Mini Cooper, new generation versions of Fiat Linea and Fiat Puno, much awaited compact size Maruti Swift Dzire 2012, Tata Nano Diesel, and many more.

Moreover, the leading car makers will be showcasing their future car concepts that will comprise of Maruti’s New SUV Concept, Hyundai’s New SUV Concept, new Suzuki small car concepts, Ford EcoSport, and many more.
Apart from these innovative cars, this year the number of visitors is expected to be way higher as compared to the 10th edition of the expo. Organizing a mega event like this needs sincere joint efforts of all organizing agencies. The International Auto Expo in Delhi has been organized jointly by auto industry bodies in the Indian market including ACMA (Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India), CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) and SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers).

Pragati Maidan at the National Capital, which is the venue of the mega event of Delhi Auto Expo, is very easy to reach. The inter-state bus terminals including Anand Vihar ISBT in Trans-Yamuna area, Kashmiri Gate ISBT in Northern Delhi and Sarai Kale Khan ISBT in Southeast Delhi have easy accessibility for the venue of auto expo, and the visitors can take help of regular bus service to reach the venue. On the other hand from airport, taxies and cabs are easily available for the Pragati Maidan. Moreover, a special Metro Train – named as airport express – runs from airport to sector 21 Dwarka or New Delhi Railway Station. The Airport Express Metro can be reached from Indira Gandhi International Airport (T3), and the timings of this special metro are 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Many of the last year Auto Expo visitors may be aware, the International Auto Expo in the National Capital is not limited to the showcasing of cars, bikes or other vehicles. The Auto Expo attracts a large number of auto enthusiasts from different walks of life. Besides the showcase of new cars and launch of new models, the car makers will be displaying a number of their future design concepts.
