Details of facelift Toyota Etios leaked ahead of its launch

Rumours regarding launch of facelift Etios sedan from Japanese car maker Toyota Motors have been around during couple of months. Interestingly some images of the same have leaked in cyber world ahead of its launch sometimes during this month in South American car market. According to leaked images the sedan will undergo changes inside the cabin offering it a contemporary look, whereas there would be no changes on the exteriors.

Under the hood it will be offered with engine options of 1.3-litre Dual VVT-i and 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i flex-fuel engine configurations. The transmission system will include six speed manual transmission system, replacing the existing five speed manual gear transmission system. With this the buyers will be offered an option of four speed automatic transmission system. Talking about the changes that would be offered inside the cabin the major change offered is integration of digital central console replacing the conventional analogue control system from existing Toyota Etios. The seven inch touch screen infotainment system remains the same, the other new features adorned inside the cabin includes ISOFIX child seat, cruise control and head restraint. Moving ahead with an objective to provide safe traveling to rear passengers a three point seatbelt feature has also been introduced.

As far as launch of facelift Etios in Indian car market is concerned it is speculated that Toyota Kirloskar Motors India Limited might launch the same once it is launched in South America, by the end of this month.
