Facelift Koleos unveiled just before the Indian Auto Expo
Proving all the speculations wrong French car maker has unveiled the facelift version of Koleos in Indian car market without much high tech promotional strategies. This move from car maker has surprised everyone associated with car industry, because with Indian Auto Expo at door step it was expected that company will unveil it during the event. But finally company officially unveiled the facelift Koleos in Indian car market in three models namely 4x2 MT, 4x4 MT, and 4x4 AT.
The facelift Koleos has carried the same engine configuration as adorned in its existing version i.e. 2.0 litre diesel engine coated with six speed manual transmission developing the power of 148 bhp and torque of 320 Nm. It is reported that the facelift version of Koleos is fuel efficient than the erstwhile variant and is expected to deliver an average of 17.15 kmpl. The other two models 4x4 MT, and 4x4 AT have been also offered with same engine configurations, however with improved power and torque development efficiency. Both models will develop the power of 171 bhp and torque of 360 Nm. The manual transmission system will deliver an average of 16.26 kmpl, whereas automatic transmission model will offer an average of 14.56 kmpl. As far as prices of these models are concerned nothing has been officially disclosed by company, however it is expected that within a day or two it will reveal the prices of these models.
Talking about the cosmetic changes that have been introduced in this modified version of Koleos are concerned it would not be wrong that company has paid proper attention in making this facelift a perfect combination of comfort, elegance, technology and style, which is miles ahead from its former version. The front fascia has been developed with new radiator grille followed by chrome plated protectors. In the interior front it has offered automatic air conditioners, BOSE entertainment system along with 8 speakers, sub woofers and digital amplifier, luxurious upholstery, adjustable seats and many more.
