Facelift Mercedes Benz CLA reaches India for approval
German car maker has brought the facelift version of its luxurious sedan CLA Class to get its approved by Indian transportation authority’s before its final launch during the second half of this year. The facelift CLA receives minute changes on both exterior and interior giving it a contemporary appearance. It would be interested to know that car maker has imported both of its variants for getting approval by Indian authorities.

The India bound petrol version of CLA class will continue the existing 2.0 litre four cylinder engine that boosts the power of 181 bhp and torque of 300 Nm at 5500 rpm and 1200-4000 rpm respectively. On the other side diesel variant generates the power of 2.2 litre four cylinder engine that boosts the power of 134 bhp at rpm varying between 3200 and 4000 and torque of 300 Nm at 1400-3000 rpm. Both the engines will be mated with seven speed automatic transmission system.

Moving towards the changes that are offered on the exteriors includes newly developed diamond grille flanked with newly developed black colored bumper, the rear profile seems to be almost the same. It also receives new set of alloy wheels. Inside the cabin it receives newly developed upholstery, new instrument cluster, new 8 inch floating infotainment screen, chrome garnished elements. Along with these features interiors are also offered with option of active brake assist system, performance LED headlamps and many more. The interesting thing which is to be noted that will car maker introduce Cavansite Blue metallic paint scheme for India bound version or not.
