Fiat Avventura launch confirmed on October 21, 2014
Finally it is confirmed that Italian car maker Fiat Motors would launch their highly awaited crossover Avventura in Indian car market on October 21, 2014. The crossover would be launched in both petrol and diesel disguises in three variants namely Active, Dynamic and Emotion. The crossover has been developed on the platform of its elder sibling Punto Evo launched recently. Except the price, car maker has almost disclosed all the features that would be adorned in the cross over and therefore it is expected that the vehicle will play an interesting role in improving the condition of car maker in Indian car market.
The petrol variant of the crossover would be empowered with 1.4 litre petrol engine developing the power of 89 bhp and torque of 115 NM, while the diesel variant would be energized with 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine boosting the power of 92 bhp and torque of 208 Nm. Talking about the major features offered in different trims the Active version would be blessed with tilt adjustable steering wheel, dual tone dashboard, automatic door locking, front power windows, keyless entry, ORVMs with turn indicators, and electronic boot opening and many more.
Moving towards the mid variant Dynamic it would sport the features like electronic body colored ORVMs, fog lamps, all power windows, ABS+EBD and all features offered in the entry level variant. The top end variant that is Emotion will carry all the features offered in both first two variants along with airbags for all the passengers at front and rear side, automatic climate control, rear air conditioner vents, steering mounted audio and telephone controls, leather wrapped steering wheel, rear defogger and rear wiper and washer etc.
