Ford declares the winner of 'All-new Fiesta Photography Contest'
Ford Motors recently organized an exciting contest for the India's amateur photographers. The evnt was organized at the Fiesta Cafe in New Delhi. The contest was successfully conducted and the Gaurav Chauhan came up as the winner of this exciting event.
Ford Motors targeted the vibrant youth of the country to come up and participate in this innovative contest. The event was organized at the Fiesta Cafe in New Delhi. The contest was named as ‘All-new Ford Fiesta Photography Contest’. The contest was scheduled exactly a week prior to the launch of its all new Ford Fiesta.
The registration for the contest started from May 7th and continued till May 15th. A lot of enthusiasm was seen among the youth for this contest. The contest was open for all amateur photographers. The contestants had to click a unique picture of all-new Ford Fiesta sedan at the Fiesta Cafe.
After a close look of the pictures 12 enteries were selected for the finals. The photographs taken by these amateur contestants were shared on Flickr.com. the pictures were made available from May 19th, 2011. the entries were a big hit on the website with more than 360,000 views that too in a period of 7 days. The result of this contest was based on the votes given by viewers along with a combined decision of Mr. Madhavan Pillai, Editor, Better Photography and selected Ford executives. The winner was graced with cash prize of Rs 2,00,000.
