Ford India might pay compensation for defective car to the owners
The leading auto maker, Ford India has recently found guilty for selling the defective cars by the Delhi State Consumer Commission (DSCC). The authorities have asked the company to pay a compensation of Rs.75, 000 to the suffering customer, under the manufacturer’s duties.
The President Justice of the DSCC bench commission, Barkat Ali Zaidi and member Salma Noor stated that according to the law manufacturer or dealer is responsible to provide a defect free vehicle to the customer. The occurred damages clearly show that there are some serious manufacturing defects.

However, the company and its dealers didn’t produce any evidence yet in order to clarify that the damages are caused due to the traffic or careless driving of the car owner. The district consumer forum has justified that the Ford India is the victim of customers with deficient services and have to pay a compensation of Rs.75, 000 to the complainant N. Ranganathan (resident of the Dilshad Garden in East Delhi) along with the costs in his favour.
So seeing the complaints rising so much, company might soon announce to compensate the vehicle owners, recently we have seen many companies doing it.
